Day 01 : Mangalore
Mangalore - Udupi Tour PackageOur representative will welcome you at Mangalore Airport or Railway station. Mangalore is a port city and scenic place dotted with coconut palms, hills and streams, and is known for its temples and beaches. On arrival at Mangalore, you will be transferred to the hotel, check in to the hotel. After fresh-up proceed to visit St. Aloysius Chapel - built in the year 1899-1900 by Father Joseph Willy known for wonderful series of paintings of the artist Antony Moshaini of Italy. Then visit Bejai Museum the only museum and well known as a treasury of many ancient artifacts, then visit Sulthan Battery, a watchtower built in 1784 by Tipu Sultan to watch the entry of warships into the Gurpur River. Then visit Tannirbavi Beach - one of the best beaches of Mangalore. The soft sands of the beach and breezy winds of Arabian Sea offer memorable experience. Visit to Kudroli Sri Gokarnanatha Kshetra - one of the beautiful temples of Mangalore and Beautiful view of temple filled with lights and decorative everywhere around the temple is bliss to watch! Return to the hotel and overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 02 : Mangalore Sightseeing
Mangalore - Udupi Tour PackageMorning after breakfast, drive to Kudupu Ananthapadmanabha Temple, situated in Kudupu village, which is 10 Km away from Mangalore City (On Mangalore - Moodbidri Route). The temple is dedicated to Lord Anantha Padmanabha (another form of Lord Vishnu) and famous for serpent worship. Then proceed to Pilikula Nisargadhama - major tourist attraction of Mangalore with a zoo and theme park featuring several wild animals. Adjacent to zoo is Manasa Water Park with boating facilities are available. Pilikula Nisargadhama offers scenic beauty and peace. The Zoo houses variety of animals like deer, wild boars, tigers, leopard, lion, and snakes both poisonous and non poisonous, porcupines and few birds. Then proceed to visit Kateel Durga Parameshwari Temple, located on the banks of River Nandini. Get the divine blessings of Goddess Durgaparameshwari. Evening, proceed to Surathkal Beach. This beach is near the promontory on which the new lighthouse stands. A steep path connects the lighthouse to the Sadashiva Temple. Drive back to Mangalore. Return to the hotel and overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 03 : Mangalore - Udupi
Mangalore - Udupi Tour PackageMorning, after breakfast, check out the hotel and drive to Udupi. Udupi is a important tourist destination and temple town located in the coastal Karnataka. Check into the hotel and visit the Panoramic view of Malpe Beach. At the mouth of the Malpe River, about 6 km from Udupi, is the natural harbor of Malpe, an important fishing centre that enriches Karnataka's coastline with its wonderful beach. Later, visit St Mary's Island (closed during the monsoon season). The island is 300m long and 100m wide and has a few palm trees. Then go for a walk in the Malpe beach. Then go for a Malpe Sea Walk. Evening visit to Sri Krishna Temple - a popular Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Krishna and Dvaita Matha located in the city of Udupi. Sri Krishna Temple is one of the most famous pilgrimage sites. Day 04 : Udupi Sightseeing

On arrival at Varanga, visit 1200 year old Neminatha Basadi, Chandranatha Basadi and Kere Basadi. Varanga Kere Basadi is main attraction of the place and situated in the midst of a gentle green lake in Varanga. It seems like a lotus in a pond. This basadi is also called as Jalamandir and can be reached in a small wooden boat. Tranquil lake contrasts well with the sharp quadrilateral architecture of the basadi and gentle swaying hills at the distance. Then visit Kodi Bengre Beach - beautiful beach where river meet the Arabian sea. The Serene atmosphere of Kodi Bengre Beach attracts you to spend time with family and friends without any crowd. Evening, drive to Manipal End Point (reach the place by 5 PM) - well maintained garden and a quiet place to relax where you can enjoy a beautiful sunset during summer. Day 05 : Udupi - Mangalore

The main attraction of the village is a hill, known as Durga Betta, on which stands a temple dedicated to Goddess Durga Parameshwari. Sri Madhvacharya, the founder of the Dvaita school of philosophy, used to visit the Durga temple every day during his childhood. Then drive to Karkala known for single stone 41.5 feet statue of Gommateshwara (Lord Bahubali) - the second tallest in Karnataka. Then visit nearest Anekere Lake - a historic and scenic lake built in 12th century by an ancient king Pandyadeva to solve the problem of water scarcity. The 7 acres lake is full of clear water and adorned with beautiful white lilies. Then drive to Moodbidri and visit 1000 Pillar temple or Savira Kambada Basadi (Jain Temple) known for its magnificent pillars that are the hallmarks of this ancient place of worship. The temple was built by the local chieftain, Devaraya Wodeyar in 1430 and the current design was introduced in the year 1962. Then drive to Mangalore.
